1. How long have you been dancing?

2. What is your favorite style?
a. My favorite style to dance would be Contemporary but I love teaching Hip Hop.
3. How long have you been with the company?
a. This would be my second season of Impact!
4. What school do you go to?
a. Right now I am not in school. Two years ago I graduated with my Bachelors of Art degree from Dean College.
5. What do you study?
a. Majored in Dance, minored in Psychology.
6. What is one word that would describe how you feel when you dance?
a. aroused, just kidding, I would say “real”
7. What got you into dancing?
a. My older sister, actually. When I was a kid, my mother used to bring me to drop off my sister to her dance classes and as my mother was tying my sister’s dance shoes, I use to run up the stairs to where the dance studio was. It happened many times, until my parents got me in my own classes.
8. How do you feel when you perform?
a. I don’t know how to answer this question, because it is different every time and depends on what kind of dance I am doing. To put a broad answer to this question, I would settle with the word “alive”, because whether I am dancing about a death or a newly wedded couple, or even just dancing about how the trees blow in the wind, I can say I would feel alive in every piece.
9. What’s something people would be surprised to know about you?
a. I can play the marimba! (look it up!)
10. Do you teach dance?
a. Yes I do teach dance, at many various studios.

11. Talk about a dance experience that moved you or that you are proud of. (a performance, a dance event, fundraiser.)
a. Recently I started my own program in the small town of Franklin, teaching high school students the realism in the dance world. I choreographed a full 1.5 hour show for the first time about a concept that was very deep to my heart. Not many understood the concept but that is the point of my program to make your own opinion on your own interpretation. But my last piece was a beautiful performed piece about a battle between good and evil, Jesus and Lucifer to be exact. Two strong beings on completely different roads. I have wanted to do this piece for a few years now, and to have finally saw it on stage for the first time in March was breath-taking for me. And for me, this was the first time that I have choreographed without supervision. No one telling me that I should try this or that, did not have to obey by the “family-friendly” rule, no limitations. This moment made me very proud of myself as well as my students, who blew me away that night!
12. What do you eat for breakfast?
a. Wheat Bread toasted with some jam.
13. Have you traveled outside of the country? If yes, to where? If no, where have you gone in the USA?
a. Yes, I have traveled to Canada, Switzerland and Italy!
14. What do you do after a long day of rehearsals?
a. A nice hot shower and glad of wine is the best activity after long rehearsal days.
15. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
a. No idea, as my friends would tell you, I live day by day, sometimes hour by hour. I couldn’t even tell you what I see myself doing tomorrow.
16. What is your favorite non-dance hobby?
a. Long walks on the beach, no judgement here.
17. What is your favorite quote?
a. “I am thankful to all of those who said no to me. It’s because of you I did it myself” Albert Einstein
