1. How long have you been dancing?
a. Since before I could walk… 26 years! AHHHH
2. What is your favorite style?
a. If I have to put a label, I guess I would say Contemporary. I like to create/move to any music that inspires me. If someone needs to categorize that they can. Most of the time I call it “Meghan jazz” or ‘Meghan lyrical hop” I hate labels!

a. Well I started the company a little over 3 years ago, but I think subconsciously I had been thinking about the company since high school (2002-2006).

6. What is one word that would describe how you feel when you dance?
a. Home
7. What got you into dancing?
a. Some life force?? LOL! My mother told me, when I was months old, that if I wanted to go to dance class I had to use the big girl potty and no more diapers. Needless to say, I think she signed me up the following week.
8. How do you feel when you perform?
a. Depends on what I am perform. I think I like performing in class the best. When a combination feels right and I can just live in the moment, I actually don't feel anything. It is the only time in the world that I don't think, feel or do... I just move.

a. I don’t like to go out. I never really have. (Unless it is a special occasion or I am in the mood too.) I would much rather cook dinner at home and watch bad TV or a silly chick flick on lifetime.
10. Do you teach dance?
a. Yes. All ages, abilities and levels. Teaching the little baby classes keep me going
11. Talk about a dance experience that moved you or that you are proud of. (A performance, a dance event, fundraiser.)
a. When I was 19 years old, the studio I worked for asked me if I was interested in teaching private lessons to a little girl who had Down syndrome. I said yes and had no idea what I had ahead of me. At first, it was one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life. I had no way of verbally communicating with this dancer and her mobility was limited. Throughout many weekly lessons with this beautiful girl we created something amazing for the both of us. She was learning how to dance on her own, follow directions and express herself freely. I was learning how to be patient, repetitive, trustworthy, and a really good teacher. We performed a duet at the yearly recital in June and the response still tears me up to this day. Everyone was complimenting me on how great of a teacher I was and they couldn’t believe how amazing our performance was. All I could think about in the back of my mind was they have it all wrong, SHE was the greatest teacher I have ever had.
12. What do you eat for breakfast?
a. Today I had a mango Greek yogurt from Trader Joe’s, a banana and a coffee with Carmel cream in it
13. Have you traveled outside of the country? If yes, to where? If no, where have you gone in the USA?
a. Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and a bunch of little islands in between. I have been on three cruises!
14. What do you do after a long day of rehearsals?
a. Drive home in silence, eat dinner and then watch videos from class or rehearsals.
15. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
a. Getting a Masters degree…Married with two little ones running around!
16. What is your favorite non-dance hobby?
a. Pictures
17. What are your biggest pet peeves and your biggest indulgence?
a. People who do not wave to say thank you when you let them go in front of you or let them cross the street! Biggest indulgence….. Cadbury Mini eggs
