1. How long have you been dancing?
a. I started dancing when I was 11 but did not get into technical and foundational styles until I was about 14.
2. What is your favorite style?
a. I really enjoy different forms of contemporary.
3. How long have you been with the company?
a. I have been with IMPACT since January 2014.
4. What school do you go to?
a. I currently attend Dean College.
5. What do you study?
a. I am a psychology major.
6. What is one word that would describe how you feel when you dance?
a. Variety. What I feel when I dance always changes.
7. What got you into dancing?
a. My mom decided to sign me up one day, and it kind of just happened.
8. How do you feel when you perform?
a. My feelings tend to vary depending on what inspires the dance. I find that I call on different emotions to initiate a certain kind of dance and performance; it’s an interesting process.
9. What’s something people would be surprised to know about you?
a. In addition to being a performing artist, I am also a visual artist. I experiment with painting and drawing, and I hope to try my hand at sculpting soon.

a. I do not teach dance.
11. Talk about a dance experience that moved you or that you are proud of. (A performance, a dance event, fundraiser.)
a. The first time I performed a solo was not what I expected; I let my nerves govern my movement. However, during the second performance I was able to completely liberate myself from my mental boundaries, tears and all. It was a very emotional experience.
12. What do you eat for breakfast?
a. I never like to eat the same thing for breakfast, but I have been eating a lot of yogurt lately.
13. Have you traveled outside of the country? If yes, to where? If no, where have you gone in the USA?
a. I was born in Israel actually and plan to travel back this coming summer if the opportunity arises. I have also visited Switzerland, Italy, and France.
14. What do you do after a long day of rehearsals?
a. A hot shower and a foam roller are usually my best friends after a long rehearsal. Sleep is lovely as well.
15. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
a. I’m not entirely sure, but judging by the way my life is currently going, I hope to be working as an expressive movement therapist. I would also like to see some of my art work displayed in a museum gallery.
16. What is your favorite non-dance hobby?
a. When inspiration strikes, I love to draw, paint, or create jewelry.
17. What are your biggest pet peeves and your biggest indulgence?
a. My biggest pet peeve is something that turns me into the snarkiest human alive. I cannot stand ignorance, especially when it’s disrespectful someone or something. I do not know if I have any indulgences, but visiting the movie theater is rather special to me.
18. What is your favorite quote?
a. This is not so much of a quote as it is a saying I came across once. I am trying to incorporate the idea of “learn to endure” into my life. It is certainly a struggle, but I do believe it is a necessity.
