7. What got you into dancing?
a. Ever since I was a little girl, dancing has been something that I’ve needed to do, not wanted, needed. I needed to be on stage and classes and rehearsals were fun for me. Now that I am experiencing it all from the other side as the instructor and not the student, I only hope that my students can be inspired as I was from what I learned and how my instructors influenced me.
8. How do you feel when you perform?
a. When I perform, I feel like nothing else matters- just enjoying what I love to do, executing the choreography given to me to my fullest potential and showing others what I have worked so hard for and how I’ve grown not only as a dancer, but a person.

9. What’s something people would be surprised to know about you?
a. I despise blood and anything involved with the doctors; I faint every time I get blood taken and when I am in sight of a needle, never fails, but I have three tattoos…don’t ask me how because I couldn’t tell you how I got through getting them (although I did faint when I got my third one…).
10. Do you teach dance?
a. Yes- I teach at The Dance Academy of Siagel Productions and am assistant director there.
11. Talk about a dance experience that moved you or that you are proud of. (A performance, a dance event, fundraiser.)
a. Most recently, working with a college male dancer who has very little experience in dance. He attends Roger Williams University and I have choreographed a few pieces there for their Dance Club. He was unfamiliar with dance terminology and I would have to go through things with him over and over, but little does he know he inspired me because of his work ethic and passion for this art. It is certainly NOT easy to understand and maintain dance if one hasn’t had a lot of experience in it, but he is an exception. He really wants to comprehend it all and is most definitely doing everything he can to do so, does not give up. Especially at his age, this is difficult to pick up on. Very proud and I am glad to be a part of his journey in dance.

14. What do you do after a long day of rehearsals?
a. After a long day of rehearsals, all I want to do is lye on my couch and catch up on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians”, sorry not sorry, judge me if you please
15. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
a. In ten years, I would like to have achieved my goal of working in a college dance program, hoping one day to be the dean of my own program
16. What is your favorite non-dance hobby?
a. My favorite non-dance hobby is definitely spending time with my amazing family and friends, we always end up creating some crazy memories
17. What are your biggest pet peeves and your biggest indulgence?
a. My biggest pet peeve is absolutely anything that has to do with some sort of messiness. I am a neat freak. As for my greatest indulgence, just making someone smile at least once a day, it’s so crucial to be happy in our hectic, crazy lives. We get one chance on this Earth, embrace it positively
18. What is your favorite quote?
