1. How long have you been dancing?
a. Well I started in grades 1-3 but then unfortunately had to stop. I restarted around age 15.
2. What is your favorite style?
a. Contemporary and jazz, but I love everything!
3. How long have you been with the company?
a. This is my first season as an apprentice!
4. What school do you go to?
a. The Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, but I will be attending The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City with a Dance Theatre Major.
5. What do you study?
a. High school haha! A lot of dance and theatre on the side.
6. What is one word that would describe how you feel when you dance?
a. Limitless
7. What got you into dancing?
a. I tried it in school and loved it. Somehow it found me again and the same passion returned.
8. How do you feel when you perform?
a. I feel like I’ve found my greater purpose in life and it is my sole duty to perform.
9. What’s something people would be surprised to know about you?
a. I’m actually really shy when you first meet me and can be extremely quiet and closed off from everyone.

a. I taught a lot at my school this past year, but I’m finished for now.

11. Talk about a dance experience that moved you or that you are proud of. (A performance, a dance event, fundraiser.)
a. I choreographed a jazz/sassy piece at this ballet intensive/choreography workshop I participated in during February break and it was a quartet of “bun heads” but they rocked that piece with everything they had! Also I have to say I taught the whole 3 minutes to them in 3 days with 45-60 minutes rehearsals a day, and 2 of them had never had jazz before in their lives!
12. What do you eat for breakfast?
a. If I eat breakfast, a few bowls of cereal and a banana and/or orange are a suitable breakfast for me.
13. Have you traveled outside of the country? If yes, to where? If no, where have you gone in the USA?
a. Yes I lived in Germany for 5 months and I also traveled around Italy for two weeks. I’ve also been to Poland and Belgium too.
14. What do you do after a long day of rehearsals?
a. On a good day I will go to Inman Oasis and go in the hot tub! After my muscles are relaxed I’ll go and treat myself to a nice unhealthy, but not too greasy, dinner and relax with Netflix!
15. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
a. I hope to be living still in NYC or in LA performing and exploring everything there is as an artist and maybe in a company or touring with a musical.
16. What is your favorite non-dance hobby?
a. Listening to music and discovering new types and new artists.
17. What are your biggest pet peeves and your biggest indulgence?
a. I hate when people sneeze or cough or anything with their bodily fluids and don’t cover their mouths or say excuse me etc.
18. What is your favorite quote?
a. “Isn’t it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?”
